Job Title: Application/Solutions Architect
Duration: 12-18 month W2 contract
Location: HYBRID ONSITE REQUIRED - Charlotte NC, Dallas TX, Jersey City NJ
Required Pay Scale: $65-70/hr W2
Not open to C2C and not providing visa sponsorship***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates***
Job Summary:
- To create and modify blueprints that define the current state business capabilities and the technology landscape that supports it.
- To create a target state architecture that meets the business requirements and evaluate the new and existing business capabilities that need to be implemented.
- Understand the complex technical landscape and simplify the technical stacks(application and infrastructure) to increase efficiency, data availability, performance while decreasing data duplication, cost and cycle time.
- Evaluate and understand home grown and vendor delivered software applications and products and make recommendations.
- Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team as well as Application Managers to support their development and delivery needs.
Project Details:
- Resource will be helping and partnering with different architects on the Execution team to fully understand everything at a bigger picture to make recommendations and provide solutions
- EX. Issue with code they must have a general understanding of the issue and work with the SMEs to resolve
- EX. Being able to take an extremely complex process and provide design documentation into a PowerPoint
- EX. Being able to look at 150 excel sheets of data and compare/analyze etc.
- EX. A new vendor product is being onboarded, and they don’t need to fully understand the vendor or the product itself but should have a grasp around the technology and the functionality
Must Haves
- 7+ years of technical experience
- Prior experience working as a developer
- Not necessarily a specific language or tech stack but should have an overall understanding of what they all/most of them do... i.e. Must understand what Java does
- General understanding of ETL platforms
- General understanding of Vendor products
Desired Skills
- Experience designing databases and/or big data databases
- Banking or Financial Services Experience
