Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 12-18 months
Location:Charlotte NC
Required Pay Scale: 65$-70$/hr
***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates***
Job Summary:
Must Haves
Must Haves / Required Skills:
1. sql/ database skills, mostly doing selects
2. scripting language preference in order: shell, python or perl
3. linux OS skills to do basic day to day tasks like VIMS, moving and changing files.
4. Want to do a devOps job.
5. Come from dev background in database or python (does not want .net or java dev background)
Requirements:
• Requires 7+ years of development experience
• Strong experience and understanding of an Agile SDLC lifecycle
• Experience with the banks SDM Tool stack including Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Delphix
• Experience with scripting programming languages (Python, Perl, Unix/Linux shell scripting, etc)
• Strong analytical ability, independent problem solving, and good communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and deliver in a fast paced agile environment
• Expert understanding and experience with building and deploying enterprise applications
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal supervision
