Job Title: Director of Endpoint Security (Gold Image Engineering)
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Location: Atlanta, GA
Required Pay Scale: $88–$90/hr W2

Job Summary:
The Director of Endpoint Security (Gold Image Engineering) will lead the enterprise program responsible for building, securing, and governing all gold images across Windows, macOS, Linux, and VDI platforms. This leader ensures every image is secure, compliant, automated, and ready for deployment at scale. You will integrate security controls, automate the image lifecycle, ensure vulnerability‑free releases, and lead a team of imaging engineers while partnering closely with Security, EUC, Infrastructure, and IT Operations.
Project Details:
Project Type: Enterprise modernization + automation + lifecycle management
Project Goal: Mature and standardize the gold image program across all endpoint platforms
Tech Stack:
- MECM/SCCM, Intune Autopilot, JAMF Pro, MDT
- PowerShell, Bash, Python
- EDR, DLP, encryption, identity agents
- Vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
- Cloud‑based provisioning frameworks: Current Phase: Modernization, automation buildout, and compliance uplift
Must Haves
- 8+ years in endpoint engineering, desktop engineering, or image management
- Proven experience building enterprise gold images for Windows, macOS, Linux, and VDI
- Deep expertise with MECM/SCCM, Intune/Autopilot, and JAMF Pro
- Strong automation skills (PowerShell, Bash; Python preferred)
- Experience integrating EDR, DLP, encryption, identity agents, and telemetry
- Strong understanding of secure baseline configurations (CIS, STIG, internal SBCs)
- Experience ensuring images are free of critical/high vulnerabilities
- Enterprise‑scale experience (10k+ endpoints)
- Ability to work onsite 5 days/week
- Leadership experience guiding imaging engineers and driving program maturity
Desired Skills
- Experience with Tanium, BigFix, or Ivanti
- Experience with Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7
- CI/CD pipelines for image engineering
- Regulated industry experience (financial services, healthcare, government)
- Certifications:
- Microsoft: MD‑102, SC‑100, AZ‑800/801
- macOS: ACSP, JAMF 100/200
- Security+: CISSP (optional)
- Cloud‑managed endpoint experience (Azure AD Join, Intune‑first environments)
