Job Title: Linux Systems Engineer
Duration: 12-18 month contract
Location: Addison, TX or Atlanta, GA (3 days a week onsite)
Pay rate: $55-60/hr W2.
W2 candidates ONLY. C2C candidates will not be considered.
Project Details:
Will be a part of a team driving adoption of Infrastructure solutions across 200+ users and 20 feature teams.
Systems infrastructure team. Manages all the infrastructure for Wholesale Credit Center.
Environment: MuleSoft, Salesforce and EVERY other software/tool is Linux based.
Will work with 20+ scrum teams who develop software for the platforms (MuleSoft and Salesforce are developed on these).
Team is looking for someone who can interact with development, triage, and figure out what is really going on.
Must Haves
- 5-7+ years of Linux experience, Subject Matter Expert
- Work efforts must be thorough and focused with strong attention to detail for risk and security related remediation.
- Must have strong data relationship / data interfaces / query skills
Web Services (REST / SOAP) skills. - Strong background in developing or supporting Java web applications.
- Monitoring tools experience: Splunk. Need someone who can identify issues and find solutions. Not just someone who knows how to build a Unix server.
- Middleware - people who have experience/appetite to triage on applications running on middleware. Will be running various middleware including mule and other software on servers in this role. Apply code on these servers. The need to be able to navigate on Unix is primary.
Desired Skills
- Experience in CI/CD tools
- Previous Bank/Financial experience.
- SFDC Administration certification.
