Job Title: Linux Systems Engineer
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Charlotte, NC
(Remote to Start due to Covid-19)

Job Summary:
Will be a part of a team driving adoption of Infrastructure solutions across 200+ users and 20 feature teams.
Systems infrastructure team. Manages all the infrastructure for Wholesale Credit Center.
Environment: MuleSoft, Salesforce and EVERY other software/tool is Linux based.
Will work with 20+ scrum teams who develop software for the platforms (MuleSoft and Salesforce are developed on these).
Team is looking for someone who can interact with development, triage and figure out what is really going on.
Won’t be deploying the software but there are times when issues arise in which they need to navigate log files, see what’s going on and make suggestions to the teams as to what is going on.
This person must understand Linux integrations and how they work. Manage and maintain these systems. Batching, data remediation, upgrades.
**Hot points about this role: NOT building Linux boxes all day long. They will have opportunity to get their feet wet in multiple new technologies. The team plans to move what they have on MuleSoft to a more containerized platform - sitting on stand-alone infrastructure currently. This person will have exposure to modern technology and tool sets in the market. Ability to diversify and add to their portfolio.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of Linux experience, Subject Matter Expert
- Work efforts must be thorough and focused with strong attention to detail for risk and security related remediation.
- Must have strong data relationship / data interfaces / query skills
- Web Services (REST / SOAP) skills
