JJob Title: Mobile Java Developer
Duration: 12-18 months
Location: Charlotte, NC
Required Pay Scale: 65-75/hr. W2.

Job Summary:
Project Details:
- They are working on a new employee mobile application that employees can use to go do quick things on instead of logging into a desktop.
- This role will be part of a small Java development team responsible for the development of code which provides websockets to enable the Flagscape Mobile application communication flow.
- They will work on the largest internal native mobile application for Android phones and tablets.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to app store.
- Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
- Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
- Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
- Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
Must Haves
- 5+ years' experience developing Mobile apps in Kotlin and Java- Java is the backend for IOS and Android. (Kotlin is a newer framework for mobile applications so candidates should at least know what it is.)
- Development & Design skills in Core Java, Java Frameworks Spring, Spring Boot, Service integration, message formats.
- Experience with SOAP
- API Integration Experience
- Knowledge of System Design and Architecture
- Agile experience and knowledge
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of contemporary development processes, build environments and testing tools
- Candidate should be able to shift priorities and multi-task on different business & platform goals.
- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related discipline desired but not required.
- Experience of working within a large organization or financial services company
