AI Advisor (Principal Architect / Distinguished Engineer Level) – 2-Year Contract- Remote
Summary:
Seeking a highly senior, hands-on AI Advisor to support a greenfield AI initiative. This individual will operate as a high-level individual contributor, helping define AI governance and implement scalable AI solutions while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role will function in a consultative capacity both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:

• Establish governance frameworks and guardrails for AI integration across the development lifecycle
• Design and implement AI layers to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Contribute hands-on to architecture and development of AI-driven solutions
• Act as a technical advisor and consultant to stakeholders

Must Have:

• 15+ years of experience as a senior individual contributor (Principal/Distinguished level)
• Recent hands-on experience (3–5+ years) implementing AI tools and solutions
• Experience with RAG workflows (e.g., LangChain or similar frameworks)
• Proven ability to remain hands-on while operating at a strategic level
• Excellent communication skills with a strong consultative approach

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Gemini
• Strong experience with Dataiku
• Experience working with AI gateways (e.g., Tetrate or GLUE)**
