Job Title: Principal Engineer / Architect (Berkeley Heights, NJ) W2 only
Duration: 6 months
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
Required Pay Scale:

Job Summary:
Principal Engineer / Architect
Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for defining technical roadmaps across Payment platforms
• Defines application and infrastructure lifecycle and strategic stack direction (invest, maintain, divest)
• Partners with platform leads and Design Authority to bring standardized, performant solutions to production
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to clearly communicate with peers and senior leaders
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or similar roles
• Experience with implementing common design patterns (e.g. service / microservice oriented, streaming, event driven, etc.)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Expertise in C, Java, Spring, AIX, NonStop
• Experience in Payments processing
• Experience building solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
