Job Title: Python Developer
Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract
Location: Chandler, AZ
Required Pay Scale: $60-$70/hour
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong experience in automation and configuration management, specifically someone who can independently design and develop Ansible playbooks. The ideal candidate will have a solid backend development background and hands-on experience in building scalable automation solutions across infrastructure and application environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based automation scripts and tools
- Design and write Ansible playbooks for configuration management, deployment, and orchestration
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to streamline processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments, ensuring stability and performance
- Integrate automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python development
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Understanding of infrastructure automation and configuration management principles
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice to Have:
- Middleware experience with:
- Apache Tomcat
- Apache HTTP Server
- JBoss EAP
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools:
- Kubernetes
- Red Hat OpenShift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
