Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will provide daily development and support of the SDLC platform responsible for the end to end delivery of software across the Enterprise. The role requires hands-on design, development and support of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- SDLC tools (CI/CD/Test Management) configuration and integration of these tools with other systems
- Infrastructure automation through scripting (e.g. shell, Python, PowerShell) and Ansible
- Management of continuous build, test and deploy processes
- Implementation/support of 3rd party API integrations
- Work with agile/iterative methodologies
- Partner directly with other Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners to understand features and continuously identify opportunities to build and deploy software solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams or vendors to execute projects
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with full-stack Python technologies, including Python, HTML5, and Web API
- Expertise in developing REST APIs using Python
- Experience using BDD and TDD tools like pytest
- Experience in using Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins and Ansible Tower
- Experience with Oracle PLSQL
- Excellent troubleshooting skills from all stacks including web, software, systems, and network
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
Preferred Skills:
- Performance tuning
- Good communication skills
- Familiar with agile development methodology and Jira tool
