Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep experience in cloud-native microservices architectures to support a fast-paced, enterprise-scale environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in modern engineering ecosystems built on AWS, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and highly scalable distributed systems.

You will help design, build, and optimize microservices powering mission-critical applications in a highly secure and performance-driven setting.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build cloud-native microservices in AWS
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services
• Engineer scalable backend solutions using Python (preferred) or Java
• Develop UI components using Angular
• Build server-side applications and APIs using Node.js
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices
• Partner with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure high availability, observability, and security of cloud solutions
• Contribute to performance tuning and resiliency improvements

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architecture
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python (Java acceptable)
• Experience with Node.js and RESTful API development
• Front-end development experience with Angular
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and resiliency patterns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large enterprise financial services environments
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) principles
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile product teams
