Technical Consultant – BMC Control-M SME
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Start Date: 03/30/2026

Required Pay Scale: 70-90/hr on W2 ONLY

We are seeking a senior-level BMC Control-M Subject Matter Expert to manage enterprise scheduling administration and lead large-scale migrations from legacy schedulers to Control-M within a financial services environment.
This is a high-impact role requiring deep architectural knowledge, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and hands-on migration experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Control-M scheduling, administration, and platform migrations
- Lead migration from CA7 / AutoSys to Control-M
- Install, configure, and administer distributed batch scheduling systems
- Secure batch communication (SSL, firewall configurations)
- Perform component-level troubleshooting
- Support DR testing and high availability design
- Implement Control-M add-ons (MFA, Batch Impact Manager, Self Service, File Transfer)
- Integrate ITSM tools and LDAP with Control-M
- Support application teams with workflow implementation and optimization
- Generate reporting and audit documentation
- Create process documentation for batch operations
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Control-M v9.0.18 or later
- Experience migrating from CA7 / AutoSys
- Knowledge of Workload Change Manager
- SQL and database architecture experience (Oracle, Postgres)
- Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Scripting experience (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
- Unix, Linux, and Windows administration
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (SaltStack, Git, Nexus)

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Comfortable collaborating with application development and infrastructure teams
