Looking for someone to help with current day to day aspects - overlooking initiatives of portfolio, analyzing risk exposure, keeping track of and reporting on status / progress. Keep team on schedule. Most is regulatory driven requirements.
- EXCEL
- Technology PM experience (meaning someone who has worked on a tech team)
- Having worked in financial environment, understanding of financial regulations
- ORGANIZATION
- Data Analytics, understanding trends in data, ability to make suggestions
In this role, the candidate will support the risk and control governance function for Market Sales, Research and Client Facing Technology by partnering with management and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. Candidates will be responsible to help drive risk reduction in the respective technology teams. They will be responsible to provide quality assurance at the task level to provide feedback as needed and monitor the health of issues through their lifecycle, including reporting and adherence to board-level and management metrics. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, candidates are required to drive collaboration with teammates across the portfolio and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk.
Required Skills
+ BS+ in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or similar discipline
+ 2-4+ years professional, relevant work experience
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Effective at presenting findings, data, and conclusions to influence senior leaders
+ Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
+ Able to document process steps, inputs, outputs, requirements, identify gaps, and improve workflow
+ Effective at prioritization, and time and project management
+ Strategic thinkers, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
+ Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SharePoint, etc.)
+ MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Experience in risk management, technology or financial service
+ Strong experience with executive-level report / presentation creation and delivery
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to influence across teams
+ Effective at identifying, assigning, and managing project tasks and timelines across teams
+ Sees the broader picture and is able to identify new methods for doing things
