Job Title: CAD Systems Administrator
Duration: Full-Time/Direct Hire
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Work Schedule: Onsite
Pay Scale: $20-30/hour

We are seeking a qualified CAD Systems Administrator to join our team in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entry and maintenance of PDM/CAD & MRP system data and the facilitation of key engineering processes including part number creation, obsolescence and supersede; engineering release; and engineering change processes.
This role also supports system users, provides training, monitors process KPI’s and develops best practices and procedures for the continuous improvement of these processes and leads all current and future CAD/PDM system upgrades, migrations, and improvements.
Engineering Information Systems Administrator Skills/Qualifications: (Partial List)
- 2+ years’ experience working with a variety of computer-aided design (CAD), manufacturing (CAM) and product data management (PDM) software.
- 2+ years’ experience working with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic understanding of databases.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Proven experience as data entry clerk.
Education:
Associate or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, information systems, CAD drafting, or a related field. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
