Java Developer – Backend
Job Type: C2H (Open for W2 and C2C)
Visa Requirement: USC, GCH, GC Ead, H1B, USC
Duration: 6 Months Contract 2 Hire
Location: Atlanta GA 30354 (Hybrid)
Candidate should be local to Atlanta GA and should have prior airline doamin experience.
Mandatory Skills:
- Quarkus framework - this is a newer framework, but this person will get the job!
- GraalVM
- AWS EC2
- Lambda
- APIs, RESTful
- Jenkins, Tekton, or Gitlab CI
- microservices
- Java 8 and above, J2EE
Nice to Have:
- Any Angular (they are on 13 right now), typescript or javascript is a plus
- -Kubernetes
Job Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Proven professional development experience using JAVA/JEE, Quarkus, JPA, Eclipse, SVN, Maven technologies.
- Knowledge of Front-Ent technologies (React, HTML/5, Javascript, CSS/Less, JSP, JQuery).
- Web Services Development (REST, SOAP).
- Skills in SQL / PL SQL language and database servers like MSSQL, Oracle.
- A good level in English language.
- Knowledge of Cloud deployment like AWS appreciated.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret product specifications and develop appropriate software modules to meet these requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with constant cooperation and interaction.
