Job Title: Release Manager - Banking
Duration: 18 months
Location: Addison, TX or Chicago, IL (Hybrid remote 3 days onsite)
Pay Scale: $65-67/hr W2 (Cannot subcontract or C2C)
Job Description:
- Release manager. Plan releases all the way from setting up release timelines, working with business, enabling the various steps that are required to achieve milestones.
- Work with testers, dev teams, program managers, etc.
- Agile experience and strong JIRA, JQL, Remedy
- Financial services experience needed
- Strong Excel experience
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables with usually required engagement from multiple teams, such as a project or BAU items. Key responsibilities include effectively communicating the release objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end to end visibility to the health of the deliverables. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the quality and timelines. They facilitate sync points across multiple organization to enable delivery. 10+ years’ experience as a release manager working experience is desirable Tableau reporting skills would be a plus Understand release/deployment components. Understand risks and can ally controls necessary to mitigate. Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones. Ability to answer team Agile/waterfall framework questions. Ability to understand big picture and connect all details.
