Job Description:

Responsible for defining an architectural vision and solution architecture which aligns with the enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices. Describes the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determines the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining non-functional requirements and architectural runway to support new epics/features. Ensures the solution is fit for purpose and use by working with stakeholders, vendors/service providers, and evaluating the impact of strategic design decisions. Works across business and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision and evolves it to an emerging backlog. Consults the business to clearly understand the business problems and technology to understand the technology challenges of the solution and finds creative solutions through practical experiments and POCs. Leads rapid shaping of a high level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements; ensures architecture is flexible and modular and designed to adapt easily. Utilizes the defined best practices, templates and documentation to create architectural designs; suggests improvements to best practices and templates through practical knowledge. Works with Product Manager/Owner to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epics/features. Clarifies the architecture for the development teams to support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments. Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (e.g. security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability). Educates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovative solutions. Individual contributor.

This technical analyst role will require advanced leadership and communication skills, and the successful candidate will need to drive efforts to completion across different lines of business and third party solutions.

Performs technical analyst responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversions associated to a 3rd party telephony platform. Provides analytical support for information technology projects. Develops and revises project materials and maintains project documentation.  Recommends improvements in project deliverables. Works on projects under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned technical analysts, architects and managers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to analyze data, positively influence partners, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the telephony platform and process.


·       Provides business analysis and technical support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business applications and telephony systems.

·       Translates business needs into functional/technical requirements.

·       Acts as liaison between Business Platform, Business Operations, and third party software/hardware developers/project managers.

·       Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed. (Prepaid Fraud, Prepaid Claims and Corporate Prepaid Users, Prepaid Call Center)

·       Tracking of project deliverables and follow up with relevant third party and technical teams.

·       Skilled at researching and accessing data through various tools, databases and APIs.

·       Able to build queries, analyze data and create dashboards and reports that show metrics and patterns in the data.

·       Identify and escalate risks, issues and dependencies that threaten program delivery dates

·       Facilitate project communication across various technology and business groups within the division

·       Attend project meetings and technical working groups (architects, developers, network/infrastructure partners and third party vendors) and produce organized and coherent meeting notes and action plans

·       Responsible for helping to plan, coordinate, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program.

·       Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the technical deliverables.

·       Ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost.

·       Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.

·       Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.

·       Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.

·       Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.

·       Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the change manager.

Required Skills:

·       Requires 5-7 years of experience

·       Call center experience (business analyst, technology, production support or telephony experience preferred)

·       Strong attention to detail

·       SAFe certified PO/PM

·       Ability to independently manage workload

·       Proven problem solving/ root cause analysis skills

·       Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with business partners

·       Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills

·       Proficient with Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Outlook, Communicator, Excel, Power Point, Visio, One Note, and Call Center applications
