Job Summary:
Position: Technical Project Manager
Interview Process: 2 rounds
Duration:11/15/2023 – contract, potential for extension and conversion
Rate:PAY SCALE: $65/hour
(Immediate Onsite?)
Onsite 5 days a week | 
NOT open to relo candidates

  • Project overview: migrating SnapPay from current Azure environment to Azure environment  
  • The PM doesn’t need deep specialization in one technology or another, they just need to be a strong overall technical project manager
  • Industry experience not required
  • Must haves:
    • hands-on
    • delivers results on time
    • comfortable with high level complexity
    • critical thinker
    • keep people accountable
    • clear communication
    • spot where there will be risks and articulate those risks to the stakeholders
    • PMP (deal breaker if they don’t have it)
    • Agile or Waterfall
  • Desired Skills
    • any cloud PM experience is very ideal
    • Scrum Master cert is nice to have
    • experience with gantt charts is ideal – this is the project management tool they are currently using.

As a Technical Project Manager. you can look forward to:

• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel involved with the project.
• Analyse, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
• Determine and define clear deliverable, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and management.
• Analytically, computer, math, and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software.
• Organisational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish.
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successful.
• Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and time line.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverable.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Analyse economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards.
• Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.
• Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors.
• Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
